‘Monty Python: Almost the Truth’, was multi-nominated at the daytime Emmy Awards. The documentary, created to celebrate 40 years since Monty Python’s Flying Circus first hit British televisions, was shortlisted in the Outstanding Nonfiction Series and Outstanding Direction in Nonfiction programming categories. The project was commissioned by the highly regarded IFC (Independent Film Channel) and this announcement marks their first nomination at the awards.
